It was a fun movie. It was very informative and highly helpful in a way that it makes one realize ones worth. Vienne thought she was hated by everyone which she was, but at the end of the day the hatred turned into love, and it ended up favouring her. She brought the whole town together and she even made the Mayor realize himself and change his mind towards her from bad to good, and he ended up eating the largest share off the chocolat and even slept in it, int that funny. Vienne broke a old traditional custom and gave them a new view to life. She was a strong woman and she had a curse following her from generations. She was able to break it and not let the wind of the north re-route her again. She was able to make her decision to stay behind and finally make that small town her home. However Vienne brought flavour to the town. They at first called it sin, but however it was unity she delievered. She was pleasant to all the towns people and very cheerful in giving. She made friends easily and welcomed all to her chocolate shop. I believe these attributes she had possesed were what changed her story. Whereby people started loving her and even enjoyed being around her and her shop.
She allowed Elizabeth to realize herself that she could overcome her husbands mal-treatment and do fine on her own, while she hadn't even realized her own self yet. Until she wanted to leave and her pot or vase of ashes broke, that was number one sign that she's here to stay and she's gat no where to go. Cause it seems to me the ash itself wanted to finally let go. Secondly Elizabeth reminded her what she had told her that made her fight back her husband and be strong, and that again made her realize that if I could be the one to tell this woman what to do and she did it, why should I be the one lacking this idea. That made Vienne realize her worth and how much she needed to stay behind, also her daughter don't want to leave that's another sign she refused vividly that she's not doing that journey thing anymore, cause she's tired of changing schools, and been insulted by peers and making new friends all the time. That was not pretty cool for Anuok anyways. She also had a reason to stay, her pirate{says Anouk} male friend came back for her, in the pretense of coming back to repair the squeaking door. You see that all signs are positively pointing towards her to stay. She knew it right there, and I believe seeing those wonderful people join hands and help coordinate baking her chocolate in that kitchen as she opened the door, gave her the completeness she needed to feel that really enforced her to stay, and she finally let go of the ashes into the thin air. It was a good sign of saying "Am thorugh running away from myself, now I have found myself, now I know me, I want to realize me and also to deal with me and my new turn around leave. No more to be running around towns, this is my last bus stop.
