I dont have any problem with my goal, or dreams So there's nothing much to talk about here. I was able to see that I did pretty well in contacting my Role Models, and I learned alot about the route am heading, and what to be done as I get closer to the dream. I dont have any hard time, as I've follewed the step by step in how to figure out where you are stuck and how to get out, and pretty much I haven't been stuck, and Am happy my role models got back to me on time, and I got them to chat with easily without hazzels, and that I cherished and made me appreciate them more as my role model and wanting to keep striving higher to get to where they are today.
I did what I was supposed to do and I've blogged about it too. I contacted a Psychology professor who wrote on the student webmail site looking for students who are intrested in psychology research, so I went to his office hours and spoke to him one on one, luckily he was at his desk, and he seemed pretty nice and cool, and thta geered me more to really want to experience what he was all about{doing} Anyways like I said, it was fun and intresting, also there was another study on 13 year old kids who are were smoking, and their parents knows nothing about, but cuase of confidentiality in this reasearch we can't tell their parents about their kids, cause that will be bridging patients confidentiality, so you see it was just fun all around it...lol
What I want to do for next week will be to study hard for my up coming practice exam, for my MCAT which is coming around the corner December, yep! that's it, and pray for me to pass the exam, and hopefully I'll pass the exam...lol lol lol

Research with Professor Winer
I Met with Professor Winer and I enquired if he was doing any research studies at the moment and he said oh yes I am. I asked him if I could join just to see and perharps learn from it, he accepted and I was so pleased to go and see what he was researching on. First of all It was very intresting to see what his studies was all about. He was researching on::: (a) Suppose you want to develop a treatment program for children who are afraid of the dark. You interview children and parents and you learn that children’s fearfulness varies considerably from one night to another. Although the children are fearful most nights, sometimes they are not afraid. You also learn that many of the kids report nightmares regarding monsters, vampires and burglars. You wonder: are kids afraid of the dark itself, or are they only afraid of the dark when they have fearful images? To test this idea, you set up a 2 (Illumination: Light vs Dark) by 2 (Images: Fearful or Neutral) factorial study, and you use heart rate to measure the children’s fear levels.
(!)Let’s say you found a significant main effect for illumination and a significant main effect for fear images but no interaction. Draw a graph to show how such results would look (note: heart rates should fall between 80 and 130 beats per minute). How would you interpret the graph conceptually?
(!!) Lets say instead you found a significant main effect for fear images and a significant interaction. What would the graph of the results look like? How would you interpret these results? This was a very intresting research to work on cause we had to do some calculations, and findings as well as correlation effect if one thing led to the other, or if one thing causes another. Also Profeessor winner had us, I and some other students as well as the TA's under him work on another of his research, which is as followed, :::
A researcher wonders about how social influence affects cognitive ability. She takes a sample of 40 introverts and 40 extroverts and asks them to solve some difficult math problems in a crowded room and an uncrowded room. The researcher measures the number of problems solved (numbers can range from 0 problems solved to 25 problems solved).
Factor A
Crowded Room Uncrowded Room
Factor B Introverts 12 18
Extroverts 18 12
a. Name the independent variable Factor A
i. Identify whether Factor A is between-subjects experimental, within-subjects experimental, or non-experimental?
b. Name the independent variable Factor B
c. Identify whether Factor A is between-subjects experimental, within-subjects experimental, or non-experimental?
d. Name the dependent variable?
e. What is the scale of measurement for the dependent variable?
f. If the researcher wants 40 people per cell, how many subjects are required for this study
g. Calculate and label marginal means
Part 2:::
i. If there is a main effect of Factor A, describe in words. If there is not a main effect of Factor A, describe how the groups do not differ.
ii. If there is a main effect of Factor A, describe in words. If there is not a main effect of Factor A, describe how the groups do not differ.
h. Is there an interaction? Describe what your overall results mean in words. If there is an interaction, describe how the interaction qualifies any significant main effects.
It was pretty intense but I didnt regret joining them to figure out how to do this measures and figuring out the answers to these questions, and it was fun!!! The kids were sampled by randomazation, meaning likely hood of any member of the population is beign selected is known, random selection. It was intresting to know that a group of board members has to be notified to approave this research before he can go ahead to do it, they are called the IRB. Also the consent of both the children and their parents are needed before anything can be done, that is called informed consent. Whereby participants in the research must knowingly agree to participate in the study and participants must know what the study is on and the purpose of it. If they are not told it means you have deceived them and that is called Deception, hiding the true purpose of a study task from participants. Also if one does that one needs to tell participants at the end of the study the truth, and purpose why you did the test or experimental study, and that is called Debriefing, explaining the true purpose for the study including reasons for the deception. Which is to minimize negative effects, to convey educational value, to reveal conditions, and so that they don't feel duped.lol It was fun I can tell you that.

I had an individual friend take me around the school just for sight seeing
I dint get to do much, but at least I was able to visit the school, that's what matters. I went to the Administrative block, and their university hall, were their professors are and lots more places. Although I did not call ahead to make an appointment cause that will not be given unless it's in a group of new comers orientation. So I and a friend of mine, Adedayo, drove down to the school since it's not far from ur here, and she has a friend who actually lives on the north side of the campus and she took us around. And showed us where the science lab buildings were, where the library was and cafeteria building as well. So I was walked around individually by a friends friend. The best part about it is feeling like am already a student there, even when I wasn't yet, but the mere sight of the school makes me aspire more to further my dream. I can't wait.!!!1 The worst was that some buildings were quite old but should that borther me, nope! cause the oldness of it is not what matters but the uniqueness of the structure and what will be taught in that structure{building}...lol

Schools I Visited To Check their surroundings
I went to Loyola college of medicine, It's a school I see every sunday when am going to church and I always wished to tour it round, but I never did until on thursday the 29th and I enjoyed every bit of it.
I went to Northwestern college of medicine, which was a preference from my sister because she graduated from Northwestern university as a computer scientist. Moreso North Western uni is a good school, one of the best and top medical school in Chicago, that produces the top and best Doctors in which I have had encounters with some of them along my working career. And I would love to go there if am accepted.

My Mapped out Schools
I mapped out Medical schools I would love to go to. I called some and emailed some, to ask about what is required before one can get accepted: such as GPA, forms to fill, applications online, Affidafits to be sworn and signed in front of a lawyer, and so on and so forth. The list of the schools I mapped out are:
- Miami College of Medicine, I really wanted to go there so in my Junior year I went there to submit my application and toured around the school. It was big and nice
- Loyola College of Medicine on Maywood.
- Northwestern school of Medicine at evanston,(webmaster@northwestern.edu),
- College of Medicine @ Chicago il, on Taylor street.
- University of Winsconsin Medical School, North Chicago.
- Feinberg School of Medicine; Cognitive Neurology & Alzhemimers Disease center on - East Superior chicago il. This would be fun to get into because I studied Neuroscience so it would be fun to keep up with that trend.
- Mehary college of Medicine, at Nashville Tennesse. A very nice school which I have visited. I went to visit my friend there, he also finished undergrad here at UIC, and I went to say hi for three days and it was fun, and I promised to apply there.
- Emory school of medicine, Atlanta Georgia. I also have visited last year, I have five girl friends there 2 of them are in Medical school, so I went up there to see how they are doing, and for sure I fell in love with the school. It was beautiful and gracious. Nice buildings, sharp flower decorations and good place to go to school.
- International Medical School in the Caribbeans, University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine.
The Caribbean will be the last and least result for me if I can't get into medical school in the states, which I know won't be the case.

Excercise 2: Planning Wall Picture

In the next 5 years{months}
This excercise was fun for me, and challenging, it made me see how well one can have a planner as a every day tool, and how it might work effectively in our everyday life. I believe it helps one become more productive and more organized. It helps one make a to do daily list, and sort them by priority and work on them until they are completed. I like the fact that i can arrange them by categories and set deadline reminders to make sure i'll be completing the task/work in time. I see this as a tool which its purpose is to help people in organizing their life, work, business and so on (you name it), to help them in using their time best and making their work become more efficient.
Excercise 3: My Progress with my first step

I am so happy and filled with joy that am able to start my first step and actually see progress on it. After I filled the pink card on monday with what I wanted to do as my 1st step. I took the move on Tuesday the next day, and called up Kaplan and Princeton review prep courses. I demanded that I need to know when and when they have review dates, and I was detailly told when next their testing section class is available. I was told what to do, what to bring along, and how to go about it, and above all what to expect. I scheduled myself for the pre-test for december that's the last section they have for the year, and that's ok. I will go with that date, the 5th of december. On thursday I received a slip from Kaplan, which was a test date card and witha $200 discount. Then on friday i receieved another slip, this time from princeton, and it was a $300 discount. It cost about $1,800 for this test, and receiving this discount it brought some sort of relief to my heart, and I was so happy. Not only that, now I have to choose between which test, Kaplan or Princeton, of course Prinston, with the $300 discount. I took the picture of my discount card for the test, and i'll attach it to my blog... I got a $300 discount wao! dats nice and very encouraging to fulfill my heart desire. It gives me this sense of fulfillment and satisfaction...lol Hurray am a step forward in accomplishing my goal.
Reaching Out Part 3
Interview with My Role Model No 5: Dr Jones. Cardiologist
Dr Jones, a very talented individual, highly smart very intelligent man, who you never can catch unaware with any kind of medical question, happens to be a Cardiology Doctor at Mercy hospital. He is the head of the whole cardio department, and the owner of the whole 12th floor of the hospital. A highly influential Dr, who knows what he is doing and has a say to things in the hospital. I happened to know Doctor Jones because I work in the same hospital with him. When we met 2-3years ago at work, we met at the elevator and he said hows school going and I said great. Then he asked what I was taking in school, I told him i was doing my pre-med, his face got lightened up and he got involved talking to me about how patience, dedication and focus can be the sole key to success in med school.I went to his office and try to interview him for this class, he welcomed me and opened my eyes to see more on this path to success.
He said the road is tough and rough to sail, but smooth and jolly to ride. He said to me After treating conutless cardio{heart} problemed patients with the knife, he became convinced that the patients themselves had an even more important instrument: the will to live. He further said that looking back over his surgeical career, he thought he could see a pattern in which patients who gave up on their own powers and placed their future entirely in the doctor's hands frequently died, and others who seemed to take their destiny in their own hands frequently lived. And that that was a true fact. He said he became the doctor he is today all because of self intrest in wanting to take care of others, and dedication in actually carrying out the care.
I said to Dr Jones what was the path you took, to get this positon today, where u have all this high level of respect in your community and he answered and said, oh no Ibi, u dont want to know!! And I said hell yea Dr Jones, I sure want to know...lol and we both laughed. He said alot,Ibi, trust me alot. He stated by saying, it was a long road that seems never ending, but at the end of it, there's a great reward waiting for you. And I nodded my head in astonishment, like, are u serious, am going to go through this route as hard as it may sound, but trust me I dint say a word out. So he dont feel like am already discouraged on the crooked path. So I listened, and he continued by explaining to me, what cardio was about, and how he managed through all the necessary courses and exams before he attained his degree and before he could hold that knife.
With the rise in diseases like hypertension and high cholesterol, cardiac surgeons are needed now more than ever. Patients with risks of stroke, heart attacks and heart failure, heart disease are getting plentier. He said that as a cardio doctor, they are responsible for performing EKGs, treadmill stress tests, echocardiograms, cardiac catheterizations and angioplasties. But that before you can do any of those to know the degree at which the heart is failing, you need to go through::::
Step 1:Get a bachelor's degree in analytical subject like life sciences, biology, chemistry, economics, engineering or psychology. The next step is medical school, which took him four years to complete. He said that graduation from an approved medical school will result in the title Medical Doctor (MD). He said that as a cardiovascular surgeon, he had to complete five years of training in general surgery before starting a two- or three-year cardiothoracic training program. He also said that, he has some additional training to perform pediatric or transplant surgery. He then added that the completion of the qualifying licensing examinations was the last thing he did cause it was so required to be able to practice medicine. Licensure by the regional licensing authority was requiered and he obtained it.
There is more risk and a longer educational experience trying to be a cardiovascular surgeon, they perform Surgeries. However,he said that many Cardiovascular surgeons also diagnose cardiovascular diseases and either perform surgery if necessary or prescribe appropriate drugs. He said that it took him 5 years of post MD training in general surgery and an additional 2 to 3 years of cardiovascular surgical training. So, your looking at 11 to 12 years of medical training. I was like ok are you damn serious that's added to the already 4 yrs of pre-med and the 4 yrs of med-school altogether 16years or more, get out of here, am already a grand mama then, lol.!!!
Step 2: He said he took the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) to get into medical school, and checked out the Liaison Committee of Medical Education (LCME), which accredits medical schools in the United States and Canada.
Step 3: He said he concentrated on internal medicine in medical school and learned about preventing, diagnosing and treating diseases affecting all organ systems. while the cardiology specialization comes later.
Step 4: He said he had to perform a three year residency program in internal medicine, because it was a prerequisite for every cardiologist. You need to treat patients directly during your residency, so that your level of responsibility increases as you progress through the program.
Step 5: He said he acquired his license to practice medicine in illinois state. This is a prerequisite to getting certified as a cardiologist by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).And then he further continued by saying that for
step 6: He had to get certified by the ABIM. while this required him to attend an accredited medical school and meet certain standards in the residency program.
Step 7: He said he completed three years of cardiology residency once he was certified as an internist, and that this includes performing cardiac catheterizations, EKGs and other cardiac tests.
while the last step, which is step 8: was that he took the American Board of Internal Medicine test to get certified as a cardiologist. And it was after all this test and exams, before he became the great man I think he is today. I nodded my head again for the second time while he narrated to me, on his long journey in getting to his dream.
I asked him when he felt discouraged and unsupported, and he replied saying, there are countless days and nights of study, long years of school, the last eight at your expence followed by three to five years of this house-officer schedule, at a salary of twenty-five thousand a year. When you are in your last year of medical school, still paying twenty thousand or so for the privilege of being there, and with residency still ahead of you, huge loans to pay back, and your college roomates of comparable ability who went to law school, business school may already be earning a six-figure salary, so tell me isn't that discouraging enough. He was trying to say that, few or none of this other professions has a training process that is as long or as difficult as that of medicine, but yet he made me understand that given their onerous training and heavy responsibility doctors on average are not being paid too much for the skills they possess, that is discouraging enough.
I asked him how did u over came the challenges: he said with a strong heart, he did...that was a funny answer, but i believe a concrete one too. he also said that he did, knowing the extent of responsibility that he had, and the obligations he had in doing his job right, and making people to leave with an happy face, fixed the whole discouragement part. But that however, no one is perfect, no one can heal, but God.

Second Dr. Interviewed {The discussion.}
Dr Abel Dafiagbor.
I interviewed Dr Abel Dafiagbor, on phone and he was a funny man. he happenes to be one of my Aunty's husband. I called him up and asked if he wont mind to asnwer some questions for me, and he said, ok! Then I said can you tell me the path you went to be the Doctor that you are today, and he busted out laughing! and I was like ok, ok,ok no no!! let me say that in depth. Ok! I'm in this class and my professor wants us to find our role models and ask them some questions, and that's one of the question, and she wants us to write your answers down. Then he replied! Ok so do I fit your Dr. category, and I now laughed, of course as long as you are a Medical doctor, and he said oh yes I am. Then I said ok then, good. Lets get started, and he then said sure, then we began.
He said he started his journey from Nigeria, where he first did few examinations called the WAEC, then the JAMB exam. After he passed he said he got admission into University of Lagos, where he said he did his preliminary for a year, then he went to College of Medicine still at University of Lagos. He said after he was done he did his clinical work at University Teaching Hospital as a Physio- Therapy Doctor, for 3 years, then he did his youth service. After youth service he said he went to England{london} and he studied Business Administration, which after that he went to school of Accupunture, for 18 months. He then said that after all that, he now came to United States{USA}, and he completed his masters in Physical Theraphy for one year and then he did professional Doctor {Clinical Doctorate in Physical Theraphy} and then got a DPT degree, known as Doctor in Physical Theraphy.
He said he was discouraged in getting his admission for the masters programme, that he wanted to do his studies in Northwestern University Chicago, but they did not accept him. He further said, when he felt unsupported was at his masters level, where he was a student and working at the same time. He said reason being was because he was old to be supported, that he was supposed to support himself, cause he was a grown ass man that no one was going to help cause, he was at that old age where no mother or father would help pay for school tuition or what have you. That you on your own. lol He said with pure determination, he was able to go through with his programme and with his good wife's emotional support, he made it all the way. But that any good thing dont always start right, nor go smooth. That the way is crooked and rough, but the strong at heart always hangs in there, and push it all the way. It wasn't an easy journey but it was a successful ending.

Interview of Two More Role Models.
Summarry of Each Conversations.
I interviewed Dr Cynthia Thomas, She works at Access Care, she is a wonderful lady. She was part of the reason I stayed focus in wanting my dream. I met her 4 years ago, and she encouraged me to keep heading for my dream, because it pays at the long run. She is a dedicated lady, and a Obe-gynea Doctor. Dr Cynthia told me, that her journey through med school wasn't easy, and neither was it too tough. But that she's an example older people needs to look at, and follow her determination step, and get up on their feet and say, Yes!! I can do it. When I and Dr C. met she was highly delighted that I wanted to go to med school, she embraced that fact and told me how lucky I am that she did not had that light shinning on her during her time. In the sense that she was older she said, and that when she even started pre-med was when she was 30years old. Before she even started premed classes, and that after 4 years of pre-med, she went to 4 years med school, and that she was 38 in her late 30's into 40's when she graduated as a doctor. So for her her discouraged moments will be, when she said it was kind of difficult for her, because she had family as well at this time to take care of. So she had to shovel between school, work, and kids. You can imagine that, but anyways, she said her journey was fun, nice and intresting. She said during the first two years of med school it was still class works, more Anatomy classes to be taken and so on, then the third and final year was clinicals where by you disect cadabars{dead people donated for reseach study}. She said that was the fun part, and they were sent to hospitals as well for clinicals. And that after she graduated she was lucky she got a job at the hospital of her choice, and she's been doing great till today. She also said that if she had to come back to life again in another world, she would still go for the same dream. Wao!! I like that. The challenges she faced was that she was older and she still struggled her way to the end. And that she overcame that fact, by staying determined, self cautious and focused.

In class activity
The in class activity I love was the five lives we had to choose and why we choose them. I think that was intresting, how we split into groups and we had a breakdown of everything, and knowing what everyone one want to become was kind of cool.
I wanted to be a Doctor. I want to be able to reach out and help those who can;t help themselves at the moment. Not because they can't but because situation is not allowing them to, at least for most of them, cause they get by the sickness and get back on their feet. So for that little sick time, I want them to feel loved and cared for. I also want to invent a cure if possible.
Second life, was a Social worker and be able to help people get public aid and all sorts.
I had a third life to be a celebrity, which was to open a foundation/organization, that can help the homeless, the orphan kids and less priviledged kids around the cities and at large.
Another one was to be a Traveling Nurse, to be able to travel far and near to help the less priviledged people and some countries at war at the monet such as Iran, Iraq and afganistan, who need nurses badly to treat the wounded. I really want to impact the world and in return, am aiming for self satisfaction, glory and of course respect in return. lol
And lastly I wanted to be a Police Officer, I beleieve I could help for violence to be reduced, and protect the communities from different attacks, killings and many more problems, so in short I want to be a problem solver. lol

More About These Dr's Lifes...
It was amazing to to have heard from this wonderful people. I was so inspired and greatful I had an oppotunity to do this. I heard different stories from different Doctors and different ways in which they were inspired to become the Doctor they were today. Amazingly they all have a story to tell and they all differ in how they got to Medical School, and how they changed their minds from first choice of study to what they finally settled down as.They all have differnt mentors, and influences and how they went through med school. Some parent paid for them, some based on loans and scholarships were not left out. Wao! Although they all have to go through same process which is Medical school, but it wasnt the same way for all of them different environment entirely and different years were spent for different schools attended. Either because of ethnic background differences and oppotunities.
Some where influenced by their parent. Some changed their mind several times. Like ER Nurse Olalere Adeleye, Told me he was in the field of study because he had passion for the course and he wanted to help people around him. He said he realizes that it was something he could handle, and he derives joy from it. He said there's gratification in it, and its a steady job that gives comfort for a long time. He said he likes the flexibility of the job and of course the pay is good he can provide a comfortable life for his kids. It was intresting to here that he used to work in an office where he dint see himself like that for the rest of his life, and he said he dint fit the place of work and he decieded right away, cause he saw himself more in the medical field and he went to school for it.
Another Dr: Dr Ide Ebelechukwu said that, He didnt want to deal with family history and follow up works. He said he figured out that he's an energetic person, and ER fits his character. He said its all about patient comes in, he treats them and discharge them or send them to the floor if they need to be admitted. He said you tend to know more and you focused on acute care people only. He said it's diffent from the family practice or internal medicine Doctors deal with paper work and continious paper work. Er doctors base their treatment on what test to be done, order it and that's it. It's a fast process, and since he's energetic it fits him squarely.
Another Doctor, Dr Gbolahan Shokoya said, his dad made his choice for him. He said perspective is different cause of different ethnicity. He wanted to be an Architect, but his Dad changed that dream for him. He said after he had applied his dad went behind him and filled another application for him to go to med school cause he was smart. and they believed he should be a Doctor. He said however he's not regreting that decesion today. He said he had always liked chalenges and he makes the best out of it, that the volumes of big text books was not scary for him because he already loves reading and reading for a longer time too, so that made it easier and intresting to read the big books. He also said that,He wanted to be a Gyenechologist becase of the procedure and you seeing the outcome immediately and you being able to fix it right there. Other than the Neuro or infectious disease Doctors, they can't see result until after series of test, and so long to arrive at a result for the patient. He said You cant choose what you really want, because there are lots of people to compete with, who also want what you want. He did say that, being a Foreign Doctor, it was so different because for foreign doctors who want to come to America and do their residency, they had only 7'000 spot for them, and they were up to 100,000 applicants, so it's highly competative to get in for residency. So depending on how good you are, then you get what you want{The kind of Doctor you want} during Residency time. He also said he got admitted for Internal Medicine for his residency, and he started working in ER as an ER Doctor.
He said he got a satisfaction in it, also cause it was close to what he hhad initially loved to do. Whereby, You see the problem, you fix it right there, just as the gyneachologist he wanted to be. So because of the similarity in the '' I can see the result now effect'' between the Oby-Gynea he wanted to be before and the ER doctor that he is now, He changed and settled as an ER Doctor. Intresting stuffs innit? lol

WHAT IS YOUR TOUCH STONE
MY DREAM: My Dream is to become a Doctor.
To go to Medical School, graduate and become a Doctor, and then further it by going for my specialty in Neuro, and become a Neuro surgeon. Which is another long ass 7 years added to my already 4 long years ahead, to get the higest level of respect in the society and among fellow Doctors.
TOUCH STONE: My touchstone is to be an acclaim Neuro-Surgeon Doctor.
So I can help others. I have flare for the brain and how it works. I have my bachelor degree in Neuroscience. I want to help people who are not in the position to help themselves at the moment not because they can't but because situation warrants them not to be able to. Example: sickness, disease and so on. What I can get from this position is position, class{social class}, respect, and comfort living. What I love best about it is the respect people in the community gives you when they know you are a Doctor especially if you are known to be the best of the best{Nuero or Cadio Doctors} The sweet center of the goal is that am patient and I believe that's a good attitude to have if one has to succeed.
MY ROLE MODEL is Dr. Jones.
Dr. Jones is a senior Neuro-Surgeon at Mercy Hospital. I admire him because of the way he carries himeself with prestige, and humor. He's highly repected and his opinion counts. He has the final say to ideas and every other Doctors and Nurses respect him to the core. He controls the 12th floor of the hospital because he owns it and that's where he does his surgeries. I want to be like him, and have what he has. Am aspiring for that goal and I won't stop at nothing till I get there. All I need is to stay focused. Whenever I come to work and I see him I use him as a point of contact to myself, that '' if he can do it, then I can also do it''. I say to myself I'll get there soon. That one day people will look up to me and my opinion will matter and count. Getting what one wants is something, sticking to it is another, patience, endurance, confidence, and positive thinking is so required for the dream to come true.
I spoke to Dr.Jones before, I told him I was finishing my pre-med and will soon go to medical school, and he was excited and happy for me. And he told me if I needed anything I should let him know if he would be able to help, that he would.
TARGET: My target is to be in that Operation Theater with scapel in my hand, number 10 blade, and so on with a head lying on my theater table ready for me to work on. Then to cut it open and work on it that would do it for me. The after feeling that I've saved someone today, I'll feel right that I' ve saved someone from dying from brain tumor. That's when I'll know that this is my dream. I've realized it, and am here to stay.
DREAM: To be a Neuro Surgeon
TOUCH STONE: To help others and gain Respect
ROLE MODEl: Dr Jones
TARGET: My name to be on the doctors progressive board, as one of the best Doctors
WHAT I LEARNT AND INSIGHTS I GOT
What I learnt about myself is that am a go getter, and am stopping at nothing, till it's done. I'll keep going cause '' I CAN DO IT'' I have gained to know how to get my dream, when to get it, how to get it, and ways to achieve it. It's by starting now. To make up my mind now, and that I can change my goal in life when I realize it's not working for me. Instaed of sitting there, trying to make it work, while time rolls fast by you. Time is going so change ur route and move on to something else closer to what you thought you want to be. Because the next step/level might be just right for you.

Optional. Activity you love
Haven't joined the class at week two. But I can blog about an out door activity I attended. It was a hot sunny day and the degree outside was in its 80's wao! what a nice day to go to the beach. I and my friends went to the beach and had fun. We placed a net pole of voley ball and we began to play voley ball, we had people on the beach who joined us and we made a team of three each and we played into the night, and we won them with the scores 8 to 5 points. It was intresting and we did'nt want to go home. We ate drank and told each other stories. It was an evening to remember.
WHAT IS YOUR PERSONALITY TYPE?
ISFP {Introverted, sensing, feeling, perceiving}
Quiet, serious, sensitive and kind. Do not like conflict, and not likely to do things which may generate conflict. Loyal and faithful. Extremely well-developed senses, and aesthetic appreciation for beauty. Not interested in leading or controlling others. Flexible and open-minded. Likely to be original and creative. Enjoy the present moment.
The insight I gained from figuring it out was that certain things were so true about me, the questions asked i could see myself doing some of them, and when the result came, it was so me. A good one would be that I am difficult to understand and that is so true about me. Most times I make it hard for people around me to actually understand me.

CHOCOLAT
It was a fun movie. It was very informative and highly helpful in a way that it makes one realize ones worth. Vienne thought she was hated by everyone which she was, but at the end of the day the hatred turned into love, and it ended up favouring her. She brought the whole town together and she even made the Mayor realize himself and change his mind towards her from bad to good, and he ended up eating the largest share off the chocolat and even slept in it, int that funny. Vienne broke a old traditional custom and gave them a new view to life. She was a strong woman and she had a curse following her from generations. She was able to break it and not let the wind of the north re-route her again. She was able to make her decision to stay behind and finally make that small town her home. However Vienne brought flavour to the town. They at first called it sin, but however it was unity she delievered. She was pleasant to all the towns people and very cheerful in giving. She made friends easily and welcomed all to her chocolate shop. I believe these attributes she had possesed were what changed her story. Whereby people started loving her and even enjoyed being around her and her shop.
She allowed Elizabeth to realize herself that she could overcome her husbands mal-treatment and do fine on her own, while she hadn't even realized her own self yet. Until she wanted to leave and her pot or vase of ashes broke, that was number one sign that she's here to stay and she's gat no where to go. Cause it seems to me the ash itself wanted to finally let go. Secondly Elizabeth reminded her what she had told her that made her fight back her husband and be strong, and that again made her realize that if I could be the one to tell this woman what to do and she did it, why should I be the one lacking this idea. That made Vienne realize her worth and how much she needed to stay behind, also her daughter don't want to leave that's another sign she refused vividly that she's not doing that journey thing anymore, cause she's tired of changing schools, and been insulted by peers and making new friends all the time. That was not pretty cool for Anuok anyways. She also had a reason to stay, her pirate{says Anouk} male friend came back for her, in the pretense of coming back to repair the squeaking door. You see that all signs are positively pointing towards her to stay. She knew it right there, and I believe seeing those wonderful people join hands and help coordinate baking her chocolate in that kitchen as she opened the door, gave her the completeness she needed to feel that really enforced her to stay, and she finally let go of the ashes into the thin air. It was a good sign of saying "Am thorugh running away from myself, now I have found myself, now I know me, I want to realize me and also to deal with me and my new turn around leave. No more to be running around towns, this is my last bus stop.

PROBLEMS
- Money
- School Degree
- No Family Support
- Discouragement from friends/family that it is not necessary to get all that luxury, because it is waste of money, and more so "all that gilters is not Gold" as the saying goes. They'll say get a moderate house and call it a day.
- Mentally I need to be prepared not to be afraid of water so as to be able to live on it for weeks or days.

{4}Well it would be okay still, because i'll be doing these things regardless it's on this special place or not, most remains the same whole thing i had been doing. My excercise routine dont cahnge, my viewing nature can only be different and new, but i still view nature everyday, at least some kind of view. I go to school everyday am not done with school i need my degree certificate to be able to get a good high paying job, for me to be able to treat myself in that manner. So until then I need those two things to land me to get my desired dream day/elements.

My Ideal Day
First thing first, when I wake up in my million dollar house, I'll brush my teeth, do some aerobic excercise. Am not big on breakfast so I just skip it, but when I do I make it myself . However; in this mansion am so going to be eating breakfast and I'm make it myself or maybe someone to serve me, a maid perharps. then I'll take a short hot shower, I'll put on my jeans and a sexy top or a dress, am will be so off to school, that won't change. What will change is that my mansion will be closer to school. I'll figure that out, whereby me driving long distance to school, won't be the case anymore. But I doubt it cause those kind of mansions lies far away from town.So I better be prepared for a longer drive now.lol. Will be in school through the afternoon, evening I get done receiving lectures. I drive back home, get busy with homeworks or get active depends mostly with who's home, but there's always someone home though. I'll like to go to church and sing to a large church congregation. I'll also love to have a fully auto workshop, so I can fix my truck and dont have to go spend thousands of dollars with the mercedes Benz dealers no more.lol I'll take a long ride, come back sit on the pouch outside by the lake, viewing nature. I'll sit there and be listening to my kind of music, which is my huge thing, a must do activity everyday. And chilling with my no alcohol pina collada glass in my hand, enjoying the nice breeze that says problem free, new beginning. After all that enjoyment, into the evening I'll move to the next enjoyment galore phase, yacht ride in the middle of the sea. I'll be there laying down, face up and just counting the stars, and trying to forget all my problems.
Then I'll drive back to my expensive sea side mansion , that's located near the waters where I can see the mountains and live on the water in a house boat if I choose to. I'll be in it for weeks or lets say days, because me and waters aint all that friends...lol I'll be in it and just relax back and feel the waves of the sea, the sound of it, the air that blows from it which is so different from the one you feel when you are on land. I want Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, and Yollanda Adams to be there to sing to me and Disney character Lizzy Maguire to be there aswell as commedian Martin Lawrence so he can make me crack up{laugh}. Along with my family and friends, my hair dresser has to be on board. Coby Bryant definately will be on board, he has to teach me how to play Basket Ball. I need Cheryl Crow to be there so she can sing some country song and put me to sleep. I can't just imagine my dearest actor Keifer Sutherland{known as Jack Bauer} to be on the sea ride, oh my God!!! I'll be the happiest on earth.
I'll go climbing mountains and bungie jumping. I might take a ride to paris and Italy, crazy isnt it. I'll have all the fun I can get by touring around and doing some shoping at my stop overs on land. When am back on my yatch the party continues, now i can go for days or a week just eating, sleeping and dancing and watching all this wonderful performers perform for me. When I get back on land I'll go watch some movies, or drive around at least after been sure my legs have not been eaten by sea sharks..lol. Then i come back home retire for the day check all doors make sure they are locked, check all appliances see if they are turned off and then I'll get some princess sleep and get my beauty rest.

My Ideal Environment
My ideal environment would be married and living in a quiet neighbourhood filled with gradens and nature. Such as the mountains, caves or perharps, a sea view. Along with nice people, good hearted and friendly people. Maybe successful people. I can say rich and happy individuals is all I want around me, cause am one ideologically right!? lol I want people with positive energy, ideas, notion and "+" motion. People who will affect my life positively and not those who will bring me down in life.
Help from others will be good, such as connection to the right places, hook up with the right people and rightful ways of life. I want positive responses for my ideas, action packed people who is ready to explore and exploit with you. Respectful atmosphere, soothing and quiet environment. I want to be a teacher and a learner. I want to teach people what I know so they gain from me, while I learn from their experience and gain more knowledge.
I'll be loving, caring, productive and creative. Am not insecured and I don't need the significant other to be. Am trustworthy, independent filled with energy and can act weird at times. My mood changes depends on who says what and I want to have parks and luxury all around me.

Seeing Yourself as Others See You
I pick Karl Popper, he's a philosophist and a researcher, who believes science often errs, just like my father does. and he also believes that psuedoscience may happen to stumble on the truth. Also because he gave report of his own work in the philosophy of science and he's so, into conviencing the world that astrology isn't science. And that one could attract anything into one's life, just by using one's thought. Int dat amazing!!!.
I choose Angelina Jolie, because she's pretty, and so smart. Elegant is her middle name Tough is her last name. She's creative and self sufficient. Pretty strong for a lady. She's got nerves, but very adventourous, and she's gat faith and believe too. She stands tall, not afraid and can face anything and that makes her successful. That's exactly with my Mom. She handles practically anything I like that in her. Jennifer Lopez, Julia Robert Halle Berry are some other actresses I like dearly.
I choose Beyonce because she's got a voice like an angel just liike my sister. She's different, calm and classy. Well organized and respectful..
I choose Paris hilton because my friend acts like her, in a way that surprises me. She could be annoying at times, jealous and envious, but she's a good friend who stands to your resue in time of need.

Do one of the things you love from our in class activity. Blog about what you did and how you experienced it.
Well first of all I just joined this class on friday last day to add or drop classes, so I wasn't here for the first class meeting time, so I dont know any in class activity. But what I can share with you is the activity I did over the weekend, on Saturday the 5th of september 2009. I and my family members along with friends went on a boat cruise. It was fun and fun all the way. I loved the experience because water makes me feel calm, clean, happy and above all, the view of the water alone, makes me feel free. Some people were sea sick and they were given sea water concurtion. This is a kind of medication given to those who feel dizzy or sick while on board.
There were pictures taken lots of food and drinks, lots of snacks and fruits. We played games, such as monopoly, cards, Scrabbles and lots more. But music was the number one prirority of the day, and everyone danced and danced and danced for 4 hours, while the boat went off shore and back to shore all the way to the loading dock area where we were loaded into the boat from the beginning, and we all came down and wished it wasn't yet over. However; the most intresting part was that we had fun and fun had us.

What do you think are my graetest gifts/strengths?
My friends said my greatest gifts/strenghts are, am a very nice, kind and a cheerful giver. That I stand by people to help in the time of their needs, and that the little I have i share without regrets. Also, that I keep secrets and am a go getter, whatever i want I go get it and I dont stop at nothing. That I dont believe in No for an answer and that am very ambicious, I strive for something and until it's mine i don't relax. And am very blunt and staright forward, that I tell it as it is.
What did you think i would become when i grew up?
She said I loved constructing things so she normally say to me, you are an engineer/ architect in the making. Alsothat she shows her friends whenever they come around what I had previously put together if it hasn't been thrown away or destroyed, and that I was always happy when she does that because her friends will call me and show me my work and say wao! you did this and they give me a hug, or a gift you know something, and that puts a gracious smile on my face. She said i was good in keeping things, and hiding things. So as I grew up she made me be in charge of her room and even hide the room keys with me, so when my elder sisters and brother wants to go ramsack her room to take anything they cant get in, they ask me where mom's key was I tell them I sure dont know, she locked her room and left for work. My sister doubt me though she said I was closer to mom and that whenever mom gets home from work am the first person she's asking for, so she knows it's with me and I said no it's not.
What things did I love, what games did I like to play, what did you think was unique about me?
When I asked my mom this question she laughed, and I wondered why? She said she could remember when I was little, I used to watch her makeup and ask her to put on my face and she would apply lipstick on me. And that I was a tradition person always wanting us to travel to our village so i can see how they live there, it was such a different atmosphere from the city lifestyle.
I love poems she said and that i like to write. Even when it has no meaning or it means something she said i would just take a piece of paper and ink pen and just write and draw, and do all sorts of nonesence on papers. She said I used to play all over the house running and dodging my older sisters whenever they try to catch me to sit down and eat or take my bath, that the whole house will know it's bath time for me. She said because of my toys such as train, barbie dolls, hand game{king kong} and my pink hand bag that follows me to church, and everywhere I go, and my walkie talkie that talks to me, and that there was this kids laptop that shows graphics of animals and objects that no one could seperate me and these things, that i hardly want to eat, but snack on cookies and candies. This I could remeber though, I and my immediate sister and her friends used to play hide and seek, and I find them but they cant find me. They come to a point they start screaming Ibi, Ibi, come out we cant find you, and we no longer doing this game, i guess I was just smarter than they are. Laughs! I also remember I used to play outside the compound with sand. I will go and fetch water with a bowl, and pour into the sand and satrt molding a house with my foot inside the sand, i'll mould the sahpe of the house around my foot and remove my foot and there you go a house is built. Then with my hands i'll mold gates find sticks and insert into the ground like it's a fence and i'll plug flowers from my moms garden and put to beautify the sand home i just built and my little friends too are doing the same, then after we've finished we look at one another's house and determine whose house is the finest and most times it was mine.
My mother said I was unique in a way that i can read people's mind what they are saying just by paying attention to them talk. She said that we had a visitor one day and they where speaking another language and the mother asked her daughter to go bring her pen in her bag in the living room and she didn't mention bag for me to have had a clue what she sent her daughter, and i just stood up and I went staright to the living room and I brought her bag and she was so surprised, cause there was no way i would have known becuase of the language she had spoken. And above all, my mom said I was the only one that when she wanted to deliever me at the hospital, after she was having a hard time delievering me, she said she prayed to God that this baby I must and will have, maybe another one I wont have but this one I shall have her, and that three angels appeared and not long she was able to deliever me, so she thinks am unique and special, because of that.

What was I like in the first 5 years of my life
According to what my mother said, she said I was this adorable, gentle, patient and caring little girl. That when I was a toddler, I usually dont cry, but smile all the time, except when i was hungry then my cries could tear the whole house down. Also I was told that I was able to start walking at the age of one year plus, and I allowed friends and family members to carry me, without struggling. She then said that I was a good sleeper, until I turned three, then I was now talking little by little so I gave her trouble. Trouble in the sense that, what ever i want If i dont get it, I will cry my eyeballs off , throw myself on the couch or ground, hit my toys on the floor trying to get as much attention as possible, so they can give me what I just asked for and i continued till I was five years old, forcing my way through to get whatever I want. Sometimes I receieved spanking for that, and sometimes, she said she'll pet me and hand over whatever it is that i wanted, if it was something not dangerous that little kids could play with.
